Marketing and Community Outreach
National Healing Corporation’s comprehensive wound care management services for
hospitals includes introducing managed wound centers and turnkey hyperbaric oxygen
services to communities and introducing hospital partners to new patients.
Authority and Responsibility
NHC program directors are dedicated to raising the profile of its hospital partners.
Every program director receives training in advertising, marketing, and public relations and utilizes a comprehensive
marketing and PR handbook developed in consultation with a national public relations
firm.
Direct Outreach to Physicians
NHC conducts one-on-one education sessions with local physicians introducing the
collaborative process offered at NHC managed wound centers. As patients receive
wound healing treatments and/or hyperbaric oxygen services, their primary care physicians
are free to focus on treating the underlying cause or disease. Once treatment is
complete, patients return to the care of their regular doctors.
Community Outreach
Sponsorships of community events, open houses and screenings keep NHC managed wound
care centers top of mind and educate the community about chronic wounds and hyperbaric
oxygen services.
Patient Education
Patients receive personalized information and printed materials to increase their
understanding of their chronic wounds, prevention and self-care. Surveys track effectiveness
and responses that direct future educational efforts.
Advertising
Sharing the cost dollar-for-dollar, NHC provides co-op advertising so that hospital
partner promotional dollars will be maximized. NHC has developed cost-effective
broadcast and print advertising that raises public awareness of the managed wound
center and turnkey hyperbaric oxygen services.
Expert Support
In its wound healing management for hospitals, NHC offers the services of a national
media company skilled in preparing media plans and materials for wound healing centers
across the country.
A Library of Successful Tools
Program directors at NHC managed wound centers have access to an online library
of proven marketing materials to maximize local opportunities in the most professional
manner. Effective campaigns focusing on specific wound etiologies and press releases
relating to healthcare days and other news events are offered in an easily-implemented
