National Healing Corporation


Marybeth Beaver, clinical education specialist, is responsible for the development and training of National Healing Corporation’s clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures.

Beaver has extensive experience as a nurse educator, case manager, and ICU nurse. During her employment with National Healing Corporation she has worked as a regional director of clinical services where she oversaw clinical services at several National Healing Wound Centers in various parts of the country. Prior to NHC, she was a wound, ostomy, and continence nurse practitioner at Shore Care Home Health Agency in Somers Point, N.J.

She has received awards for academic excellence, including outstanding graduate in the master’s in nursing program, from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and for extraordinary job performance from Shore Memorial Hospital.

Beaver has experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care, long term care, a geriatric house call practice, urgent care, and with VA outpatient services. She is certified in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing, phlebotomy, and IV use, as well as transformational leadership. She presented a graduate paper on migrant farm worker health issues at the 2001 International Biennial Conference of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Prior to beginning her nursing career, Beaver worked for 12 years as a classroom teacher in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society, the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and the New Jersey State Nurses Association.

Beaver holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in Pomona, N.J., and in education from Kutztown State College in Pennsylvania. She also has a master’s in nursing as an adult nurse practitioner from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She earned National Healing’s 2004 Regional Director of Clinical Services of the Year award.
