Garrett Cohen, regional director of operations for National Healing Corporation, oversees several National Healing Wound Centers in the Northeast region that covers centers in Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland.

Cohen has nearly 15 years of healthcare experience, with a strong background in operations, leadership development, performance improvement, and compliance.

During his employment with NHC, he worked as a program director, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Johnston Therapeutic Wound Center in Smithfield, N.C. Prior to joining NHC, Cohen worked at HCR-ManorCare as an administrator and at Lifespan as a senior clinical compliance auditor in their internal audit department. He is also a registered nurse in North Carolina and is a licensed nursing home administrator in Pennsylvania.

Cohen graduated from Suffolk University, in Boston, Mass., with a Master of Business Administration\Health Administration degree. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst, Mass.
