Jay L. Kortemeyer
Regional Director, Operations
National Healing Corporation

Jay Kortemeyer, regional director of operations for National Healing Corporation, oversees several National Healing Wound Centers in various parts of the country.

Kortemeyer has over 19 years of experience in healthcare management including product development, staff development, and budgeting. His experience includes assignments as regional director of operations for Horizon Health Corporation in Lewisville, Texas, and for TargetCare in Mansfield, Oh., director of alternative services for Windsor Hospital in Chagrin Falls, also in Oh.; and as a consultant with Horizon Mental Health, Inc. in Chicago, Ill.

Kortemeyer earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University and his master's degree in counseling and guidance from University of Dayton. He was named Program Director of the Year in 1998 and 1999, and received the Community Relations Program of the Year award in 1999 from Horizon Health Corporation.
