Peter J. Metcalfe

National Healing Corporation

Peter Metcalfe, vice president of information services for National Healing Corporation, is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company’s information strategy and management of its information systems.

Metcalfe brings to the NHC team more than 25 years of experience and insight in the wound care industry in product development, clinical research and sales & marketing. Prior to NHC, Metcalfe worked for Smith & Nephew, plc in their Wound Management Division, and most recently, served as general manager of the Outcomes Services Business (www.bamboohealth.com), where he built and launched a stand alone, start up information services business, offering wound care providers the tools to measure and improve their patient and financial performance outcomes.

Metcalfe graduated with a bachelor’s degree with honors in Chemistry & Materials Science from the University of Liverpool, England. He is an associate member of the Wound Healing Society, and member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. He also served as past director for the Wound Healing Foundation.
