Paul L. Vaughn, MD, FACS

Dr. Paul Vaughn is a member of the National Healing's medical advisory board for National Healing Corporation and serves as a resource to the medical staff of the company's National Healing Wound Centers throughout the U.S.

A vascular and endovascular surgeon, Vaughn is also medical director of Chandler Wound Healing Center in Arizona.

Vaughn treats patients in private practice at Arizona Vascular Surgery Consultants, PC, and Desert Vascular Imaging, LLC, in Mesa, Arizona. In addition to traditional limb salvage revascularization techniques, Vaughn has extensive experience in many of the newer, less invasive, endovascular treatment modalities for both arterial and venous wounds. His other clinical interests include carotid artery interventions and aortic reconstruction for aneurysm and occlusive disease.

Vaughn is board certified in vascular and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. A diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, he is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Vaughn is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Society of Vascular Ultrasound, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, American Medical Association, Phoenix Vascular Surgery Society, Maricopa County Medical Society, James D. Rives Surgical Society and the Edward B. Diethrich Surgical Society.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in microbiology from Arizona State University, Vaughn earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed his general surgery residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency followed by his vascular surgery residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
