Dianne Adelfio recognized as Regional Director of Operations of the Year

TylerJACKSONVILLE, TX (March 26, 2010) - Jacksonville, TX resident Dianne Adelfio was named Regional Director of Operations of the Year by National Healing Corporation (NHC), a leader in disease management accounting for more than 30 percent of the nation's managed and outsourced wound healing centers.

Adelfio accepted the award during an Advanced Clinical Symposium in Orlando, Fla. which featured briefings by internationally recognized specialists on new treatment options and research that may bring additional advances in the care of chronic wounds. Other sessions included hands-on training opportunities, clinical information on accepted standards of care and safety updates.

NHC Chief Operating Officer James M. Tyler presented the award saying, "Dianne has been an excellent relationship builder with our hospital partners. She leads by example contributing to the success of her centers and assisting them in maximizing resources to meet the growing need of their communities and the region."

Adelfio leads teams assuring clinical excellence, management best practices, consistency of services and fiscal accountability at NHC Wound Healing Centers which offer state-of-the-art methodologies and treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the use of vascular studies, tissue culturing and pathology, revascularization, skin grafting and clinical or surgical debridement.
