Outstanding Clinical Service by a Team Won by Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center Chandler Regional Hospital
CHANDLER, Ariz. (March 8, 2006) - The Wound Healing Center at Chandler Regional Hospital in Chandler, Ariz., received the Outstanding Clinical Service by a Team award from National Healing Corporation, a leader in disease management that provides management services plus the latest technology and expertise in wound healing to Chandler Regional and client hospitals nationwide.
The center specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions including offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The award was received in recognition of the center's achievement in earning accreditation status from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), a designation signifying the highest quality of hyperbaric medical care. To earn the rating, the center's medical team hosted a UHMS team of experts who reviewed the center's installation, operation and maintenance of hyperbaric equipment as well as its staffing, training, patient safety and standards of care.
Scottsdale resident Terri Harris also was honored both as Program Director of the Year and for Outstanding Leadership in a Clinical Project for her work at Chandler Regional and her contribution to the center's achievement.
