Sebastian Resident Recognized for Clinical Service
VERO BEACH, Fla. (June 1, 2006) - Sebastian resident Debbie Dill was recently named the New Center Clinical Manager of the Year by Boca Raton-based National Healing Corporation (NHC), a leader in disease management accounting for 20 percent of the nation's managed and outsourced wound healing centers.
Dill was recognized for her work as clinical nurse manager of the Wound Healing Center at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach, where, according to NHC, she demonstrated superior customer service, a tremendous work ethic and an exceptional level of caring for her patients and staff. The winners of the annual NHC awards are based on data from clinical measures reported from its centers.
"Debbie has demonstrated exceptional leadership over the past year, as she and her staff at the Wound Healing Center at Indian River Memorial continue to make a tremendous difference in the life of each and every patient," said Katherine J. Rowland, NHC senior vice president of clinical services, who bestowed the award at a company event in San Antonio, Texas. "Debbie and her team are committed to the local community, and I know they will continue to make a difference through the quality of care they provide."
Upon accepting the award, Dill said, "I am accepting this on behalf of my team. Everyone at the Wound Healing Center at Indian River Memorial has worked very hard to provide the best care possible for our patients, and we look forward to serving the community for years to come."
